Loudon United Methodist Church believes in supporting mission work. Approximately 20% of our total budget will be sent to mission endeavors. This does not include special offerings collected throughout the year.

As a congregation we are involved locally in the Good Samaritan Center in Lenoir City and their new facility serving the city of Loudon. Their Loudon office is located in our Church House. Many members of our congregation volunteer at this county-wide assistance ministry which provides emergency assistance with food, utility bills, rent and prescription medications. Contact the GSC at 986-1777 if you would like to become involved.

FRIENDSHIP KITCHEN
Several members of our congregation started their own ministry in 2003. Meals are lovingly prepared and delivered to area residents. Recipients might have trouble preparing meals for themselves, might need the opportunity to visit or might have temporary financial difficulties.
Although their reasons for participating are varied, everyone - volunteers and participants - benefits from this important outreach program.

Volunteers are needed to prepare and deliver meals. Call the Church Office at 458-3164.
